Building Hope is the name given to a process of renewal in the Dublin Diocese.
In the past year all the people of the diocese were consulted about the present and the future. There were about 3,000 responses to the consultation which showed a widespread desire for renewal in our faith communities. After that consultation, Building Hope was devised as a way to respond to peoples’ concerns and to the many ideas and suggestions put forward.
PARISH PARTNERSHIPS
Looking towards the future, a plan was devised for partnerships between parishes. The proposal is that these partnerships will help each other through sharing resources, planning together for parish needs and particularly in investigating new models of pastoral ministry which would better suit present and future needs.
Cherry Orchard parish will partner with:
- Ballyfermot,
- Ballyfermot Upper,
- Chapelizod,
- Neilstown,
- Rowlagh / Quarryvale
- Palmerstown
